- Doing some Linux Kernel tuning to improve system application (Oracle) performance. So far, so good. #

- Updating to MacFamilyTree 5.5. So far it seems to be handling the tree pretty well. Currently have 11931 records. #
- Googling my oldest ancestors (c. 600 CE) — found some information that once authenticated, will let me trace my family tree to c. 300 CE. #
- Hmmm. Noted a marked increase in headhunter calls this week. Economy turning around? #
- Ordering non-voip phone svc for fostering. Reqs it work with no power. Need a multiline phone to use with Vonage as well as new line. #
- Getting ready for the weekend. Will be driving all over the state. First stop, Asheville. #
